Wireless Process Control Solutions for Oil, Gas and Refining Industries

ENAP (Empresa Nacional del Petróleo), a state-owned energy company, is the largest supplier of crude oil products in Chile. Their Aconcagua refinery produces low-sulfur diesel, liquid petroleum and gasoline. The Chilean government enacted legislation requiring the plant to monitor and collect environmental data—in real time—for the water being discharged into the ocean. Honeywell was able to provide ENAP with a significant return on their investment; a project that was completed on time and on budget; a savings of over $100,000 when compared to a wired installation; and fast access to critical data that was previously unavailable due to the rough site terrain.
